Micro-dermabrasion
Microdermabrasion is a cosmetic procedure that involves using a small handheld device to exfoliate the top layer of the skin. It is typically performed by a trained skincare specialist.
The process begins with cleansing the skin to remove any dirt or oil. Then, a specialised device with a rough surface or diamond-tip wand is gently passed over the skin, which helps exfoliate and remove dead skin cells.
The procedure may cause a mild scratching or vibrating sensation, similar to a massage. After the treatment, a moisturiser or soothing product may be applied to hydrate and calm the skin.
The purpose of microdermabrasion is to improve the overall appearance of the skin, addressing concerns such as fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, uneven skin texture, and hyperpigmentation. It can also stimulate collagen production and enhance the absorption of skincare products. The number of sessions required varies depending on the individual's skin condition and desired results.
It's always important to consult with a skincare specialist or dermatologist before undergoing microdermabrasion to determine if it is a suitable treatment for your skin and to discuss any potential risks or side effects.

The Process
When it comes to administering anti-wrinkle injections, our qualified and experienced aesthetician will first conduct a thorough consultation with the client. During the consultation, the client's concerns and desired outcomes will be discussed, and a treatment plan will be tailored to their individual needs.
1
On the day of the procedure, the aesthetician will cleanse the treatment area and may apply a topical numbing cream to ensure the client's comfort. Anti-wrinkle injections typically consist of a purified protein derived from a neurotoxin that is injected into specific muscles responsible for causing wrinkles.
2
Using a very fine needle, the aesthetician will carefully and precisely inject the anti-wrinkle solution into the target muscles. The procedure itself is relatively quick, usually taking around 15-30 minutes, depending on the number of areas being treated.
3
After the injections, the client may experience some mild redness, swelling, or bruising, which should subside within a few hours to a few days. It is generally recommended to avoid touching or rubbing the treated area, and to refrain from strenuous exercise for at least 24 hours after the procedure.
4
The effects of anti-wrinkle injections gradually become noticeable within a few days, with optimal results typically achieved within one to two weeks. These injections work by temporarily blocking nerve signals to the treated muscles, resulting in the reduction or elimination of wrinkles and fine lines.
5
It's important to note that anti-wrinkle injections should only be administered by qualified aesthetician who has received appropriate training and have a deep understanding of facial anatomy. Prior to undergoing any cosmetic procedure, clients should always seek a consultation with a reputable provider to ensure a safe and effective treatment experience.
